Upload an Image from the Internet
Let's say you want to upload an image to one of your forum posts.
- Click on the Insert Image icon.
- A pop-up window appears.

If your image has a URL, you're laughing. Just type it in and your image will appear in the window. You have the option of resizing it.
Upload an Image From Your Computer
Let's say your image does not have a URL. Instead, you want to upload an image from a file on your computer. There is a way to do this.
- Go to the very bottom of the forum post.
- Click on "Browse."
- Find the file you want to upload from your computer.
- Click on "Post to Forum."
- Your image will upload, but believe me, it will not stay there. In fact, if you don't follow these steps, it will disappear!
- Let's say you're working on the post below.
- Left click on the image.
- Select properties.
- Copy the URL found there.

- Click on Insert Image AGAIN!
- Paste the URL in the appropriate slot.
- Write some alternate text.
- Click OK.
- The image will upload and stay there.
By the way, you can only insert one image per post. If you try to insert another one, the first one will disappear. This is because the attachment containing your image URL is deleted when you upload a new image. If there is no referencing URL registered at Knowplace, the image will not display.
There has got to be an easier way...yes there is! Become a MOODLE Facilitator and you will be able to upload as many images as you want.
